College Placement

College soccer is the dream that so many players aspire to make a reality when they are coming through the competitive ranks of club soccer. Here are just a few of the bigger questions asked by most that are starting to wonder about the process. How do I make it happen? How do I get recruited? When should I communicate with college coaches? Do I need to be playing for a specific team or in a specific league to have a chance? How Should I contact coaches? What are the requirements academically for me to be ready to play in college?

If these are questions that you have wondered, you are not alone. Here at Cape Coral Cyclones, we are committed to providing you with the information you need to keep you on track and give you the support that you need in order to be in the best position possible to find the best fit at the next level.

First off, every individual’s path to recruitment and participation in college soccer is different and not everyone will be playing at the Division 1 level. We are here to help everyone that is looking to continue their playing beyond high school. There is no one perfect way to be recruited. College coaches have different preferences, universities have different timelines as to when things need to be completed, some divisions are able to offer athletic scholarships like NCAA Division 1 & 2 as well as NAIA and NJCAA. NCAA Division 3 does not give athletic scholarships, but focuses on stronger academic scholarships that offset the university costs. The resources that we can provide are designed for you to be able to gain knowledge in how the process works and what the best practices are for your timelines, communication, etc.
