The Cape Coral Soccer Association is pleased to announce that Bajro Dizdarevic will assume the role of Director of Goalkeeper Development for the 2019-20 season.
Bajro has trained many of the top goalies in the area that have achieved success in club, middle school, and high school soccer. He will now oversee goalie training for all Cyclones age groups, in addition to continuing his duties as Director of Group Technical Training. He will also coach the 2005 and 2006 girls Cyclones teams for the upcoming season.
Bajro played professional soccer for NK Krajisnik and NK Mladost in Bosnia for 8 seasons and NK Djakovo in Croatia for one season. He then coached at the club level in Iowa from 1999 to 2012, winning state championships at U9, U19, U13, U16, and U19 over that time span, as well as U11 Indoor State Championship in 2010. He has taken teams from Iowa and Cape Coral overseas to participate in training and matches with teams in Croatia and Bosnia. In his time with CCSA, his teams have won at every level of competition, including this year’s U14 girls who won the Florida Premier League (FPL) championship and have advanced to the US Club Soccer SE Regionals in Winston Salem NC this June. They were also in the FSPL and are still competing in the FYSA State Cup. His U19 boys team has competed in the FPL and FSPL leagues this year in addition to participating in the Disney Showcase and the Boys College Showcase in Raleigh, North Carolina, with several players signing to play collegiately.
