The Cape Coral Soccer Association is proud to announce Chris Mathurin as Head Coach of the 2009 Boys Cyclones Team for the 2019-2020 season. Last season, Chris was Head Coach of the U12 and U14 Boys Cyclones Teams.
Chris has over 20 years of experience coaching competitive/select, high school, and college soccer and currently holds a USSF National D License. Chris’s coaching career highlights include:
- Coach at Lee University, Cleveland, TN (1998-2001)
- Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Evangelical Christian School
- Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer Coach at Bishop Verot High School
- Competitive Soccer Coach at Redoubt Soccer Association, Chattanooda, TN (1998-2001)
- Florida Premier Soccer Club & SWFL Competitive Coach for the past 12 years
Chris grew up playing soccer in the Fort Myers area. He played at the collegiate level for Mary Holmes College in West Point, MS, and Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Chris also played at the semi-pro level for the Fort Myers Manatees.

The Cape Coral Soccer Association is comprised of Select, Academy, Recreation All-Stars, Lollipop and Recreation Teams for Boys & Girls ages 4 to 18. CCSA’s Select Program, the Cape Coral Cyclones, are affiliated with the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and US Club Soccer.
