Holds a NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma (equivalent to a USSF B License) and is on Florida ODP State Staff.

Was the Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program at Washington Adventist University (WAU) NCAA Div II from 2001- 2012. 2007 named Coach of the Year for Independent DII Schools in the NCAA.

Cyclones Coaching Highlights:

  • 2024-25 U15 Boys Blue Head Coach – Champions USA League!!!  Champions USA Tournament & St Paddy’s Day Cup.   Finalist Naples Kick off Classic.
  • 2023-24 U12 boys Champions – Kickoff Spring Classic.  Finalist – Weston Cup, Cape Coral Cup & Pre – Thanksgiving Cup, Naples shootout. 
  • 2022-23 U11 Boys Champions Ft Myers Kickoff & Florida’s World Cup & Champions Commissioner Cup.
  • 2021-22: U14 Boys Black FYSA President’s Cup Elite 8 & Champions: West Pines Kickoff Classic
  • 2013-2014: U17 boys Cyclones President’s Cup Champions, National Region III Champions, and played in the National Final 4

Additional Coaching Highlights

  • 2007: Coach Martin took WAU’s Men’s Soccer Team to the USCAA National Championships in Michigan.
  • 2002-2005: Assisted University of the District of Columbia Men’s Program and coached as a NCAA Div. II National Clinician in the Youth Education through Sports “YES” program for inner city youths.

Player Highlights:

  • Played semi-pro for the Great Nigeria Insurance Football Club where he was team captain during the 1990-91 season.
  • Played at Liberty University 1992 and received a Bachelor’s in Sports Management.
  • Worked under the direction of Bruce Arena (Head Coach, U.S. Men’s Soccer) in the summer of 1994 at the University of Virginia Camp of Champions.
  • Masters in Human Resource Development from Bowie State University 2001.
