Holds a NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma (equivalent to a USSF B License) and is on Florida ODP State Staff.

Was the Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program at Washington Adventist University (WAU) NCAA Div II from 2001- 2012.

Additional Coaching Highlights

  • 2007: Coach Martin took WAU’s Men’s Soccer Team to the USCAA National Championships in Michigan. That year Coach Martin was named Coach of the Year for Independent DII Schools in the NCAA.
  • 2002-2005: Assisted University of the District of Columbia Men’s Program and coached as a NCAA Div. II National Clinician in the Youth Education through Sports “YES” program for inner city youths.

Player Highlights:

  • Played semi-pro for the Great Nigeria Insurance Football Club where he was team captain during the 1990-91 season.
  • Played at Liberty University 1992 and received a Bachelor’s in Sports Management.
  • Worked under the direction of Bruce Arena (Head Coach, U.S. Men’s Soccer) in the summer of 1994 at the University of Virginia Camp of Champions.
  • Masters in Human Resource Development from Bowie State University 2001.
