Cape Coral Cyclones and FC Prime Announce Partnership

Two of Florida’s leading soccer clubs, Cape Coral Cyclones and FC Prime, have announced a strategic partnership to align two of the state’s strongest youth soccer programs.

Cape Coral Cyclones are the official and exclusive partner for FC Prime in Southwest Florida. This means extensive scouting for Discovery Players to play within the ECNL program and club support for the Cyclones from FC Prime. This is the first step to providing access to the ECNL platform for players from this region.

Over the past months, Cape Coral Cyclones and FC Prime leadership have had several meetings to share club philosophies and long-term goals. Such as enhancing youth soccer and creating new opportunities for players. A mutual passion for developing individuals on and off the field illustrated the need for the immediate organization alignment. From the outset, both clubs have shared the same overriding collective goal of providing their players with the best possible path to play and further their education at the college level.

“The impact that FC Prime has had in Florida is impressive. The Cape Coral Soccer Association Board of Directors and Staff are delighted at the opportunity to partner with a growing organization who shares their values and goals.” said Josh Bevington, CCSA President, “What a wonderful opportunity for players throughout Southwest Florida to be able to receive exposure from college coaches all over the country and still train here in Cape Coral with their Cyclones team!”

FC Prime Executive Director, Alan Hough, added, “The leadership at both clubs share a common goal and I am very excited about the partnership with Cape Coral Soccer Association. Combining our organizational resources will provide endless opportunities for our players and the local soccer communities.”
